Job summary

British Columbia Liquor Distribution Branch (LDB) seeks Seasonal Sales Associates for the Sunshine Coast (Sechelt, Gibsons, Madeira Park). Roles are on-call seasonal positions with potential for Auxiliary opportunities. Candidates must be 19+, legally eligible to work in Canada, and able to provide excellent customer service and professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service at BC Liquor Stores locations on the Sunshine Coast.
• Perform cashier duties and handle calculations accurately.
• Operate standard equipment as needed.
• Assist with recycling program involving bottle handling.
• Shift work is required and positions are on-call.

Seasonal positions are on-call, meaning hours of work are not guaranteed and subject to availability. Seasonal positions are temporary but can lead to Auxiliary opportunities.

BC Liquor Store Sales Associates may be required to operate a variety of mechanical and hand-operated equipment, in addition to handling large volumes of bottles as part of the LDB's recycling program.

Rate of pay for Auxiliary Sales Associate is $29.9434 per hour. Shift work is required.
