Job summary

Knix is opening a new Hamilton location at Lime Ridge Mall in November 2026. We seek a Sales Associate to deliver a warm, inclusive Knix experience, helping customers find the perfect fit and building confidence through genuine connection.

As a front-line ambassador, you will meet sales targets in a fast-paced environment, stay knowledgeable on products and promotions, and support the store's visual standards while fostering a diverse, team-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service or retail is a plus, but being great with people matters most.
• You are a team player who collaborates well with others.
• You can handle multiple customer interactions with care and attention.

Responsibilities

• Create a comfortable, inclusive in-store experience for Knix customers.
• Actively listen to customers' needs and guide them to the right Knix products.
• Stay knowledgeable on current promotions and product assortment to support decisions.
• Maintain store visuals and assist with general operational needs.
• Escalate issues to the Manager on Duty when required.

The Opportunity

• Create a comfortable, inclusive, and uplifting end-to-end experience for all Knix customers.
• Actively listen to customers' unique needs and guide them to the right Knix products, ensuring they leave confident and with the perfect fit.
• Comfortable working in a sales-driven environment. Adopt a "lean in" mindset toward sales targets. You understand that every KPI (AOV, CVR, UPT) is a direct reflection of how well we are serving our community.
• Stay knowledgeable on our growing product assortment and current promotions to confidently support customer decisions.
• Maintain high energy and engagement on the floor, contributing to a positive in-store experience regardless of traffic levels.
• Support visual standards, organization, and general operational needs to keep the store customer-ready.
• Escalate any issues or opportunities as required to the Manager on Duty.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service or retail is considered an asset, but above all else, you’re great with people and are passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• You love being part of a team and are a great collaborator.
• Ability to stay flexible, take initiative, and handle multiple customer interactions with care and attention.
• Experience in a sales-driven environment, working with KPIs and sales targets is considered an asset.

Eligibility Requirements

• Must have the necessary work authorization to be legally employed in Canada and be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to lift and handle packages weighing up to 25lbs.
• Ability to move efficiently through the store for long periods of time and as needed for an entire shift.
• Available to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including holiday, evening, and weekend shifts.

Hourly Salary

• $19.00 CAD per hour
