A leading optical retailer in Greater Sudbury is seeking a Sales Associate to provide exceptional customer service and assist patients with their eyewear needs. The role involves maintaining store displays and contributing to a positive store environment. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and experience in retail or customer service. This is a part-time position offering a competitive pay structure along with various employee benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in retail or customer service required.
• Familiar with optical prescription and customer consultation.
• Strong communication skills are essential.
• Embrace new technology & change with a high level of accuracy
• Ability to sell through use of sales skills and accountability for sales results, with a desire to meet goals
• Strong communication skills (both oral and written)
• Self-motivator with a demonstrated ability to multi-task; ability to respond flexibly in a quickly changing environment

• Take pride in the appearance of the store and show initiative to keep displays & inventory clean, attractive & organized
• Help foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect

Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Consistently deliver sales plan and company objectives through cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
• Utilize optical prescription to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings.
• Assist patients in the selection of frames and coordinate frames with optical measurements, helping customers choose the perfect vision solution.
• Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with optician as needed.
• Actively participate and contribute to a positive store environment, fostering strong, professional relationships with peers, management, doctors and support staff (Target Host partners).
• Take pride in the appearance of the store and show initiative to keep displays & inventory clean, attractive & organized.

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. You may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first‑class total rewards package.
