Job summary

Ace Liquor Discounter is hiring a friendly Sales Associate to join our Gateway Plaza store. You’ll greet customers, recommend products, and help maintain an organized, welcoming space.

This role involves checkout duties, stock replenishment, and ensuring compliance with age verification. Training will be provided, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous retail or customer service experience.
• Valid PRO Serve certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Reliable, positive, and team-oriented.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide product recommendations.
• Operate the cash register and process payments.
• Restock shelves and complete basic inventory checks.
• Check customer IDs to verify age.
• Maintain a clean and safe store environment.

About The Opportunity

We’re looking for a motivated and dependable Sales Associate to join our team. If you bring a positive attitude and a willingness to learn, we’ll provide the training you need to succeed. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys customer service, teamwork, and a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

• Greet customers, answer questions, and provide product recommendations
• Operate the cash register, process payments, and issue receipts
• Restock shelves, receive deliveries, and complete basic inventory checks
• Check customer ID to verify legal purchasing age
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment

What We’re Looking For

• Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset
• Valid ProServe Certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand/walk for most of the shift
• Reliable, positive, and willing to support the team to meet shared goals
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
