Job summary

La Vie en Rose is seeking an enthusiastic sales associate for a permanent, part-time role in our Canadian stores. You will greet customers, help them find lingerie, sleepwear and swimwear, answer questions about products, and contribute to a memorable shopping experience.

Under supervision, you’ll aim to meet personal sales goals, stay organized, and support store operations. We’re a proudly local company with more than 5000 employees and 300 stores across Canada and in 19 countries, offering

Qualifications

• Prior sales experience in a retail setting.
• Interest in lingerie, sleepwear and swimwear.
• Active listening to customer needs to provide great service.
• Proactive and conscientious approach to work.
• Willingness to work holidays and longer hours during busy periods.
• Desire for a long-term career with growth opportunities.
• Functional bilingualism is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Give a warm welcome to every customer.
• Help customers find products, explain features and answer questions.
• Be available in fitting rooms to assist customers.
• Meet and exceed personal sales goals with training support.
• Prepare and place products on sales floor for a memorable shopping experience.
• Keep store and backstore clean and organized.
• Share top product picks with customers and upsell where appropriate.
• Process transactions at the cash register.

What a Typical Workday Looks Like

Under the supervision of the store management team, you will be responsible for assisting and advising customers while working to maximize sales. Here’s how:

• Give a warm welcome to every customer who comes into the store;
• Help them find everything they’re looking for—answer their questions, explain the products (quality, materials, technical features) and suggest other products they might like;
• Make yourself available when customers are in the fitting room;
• Meet and exceed your personal sales goals (our training will help you get there!);
• Prepare, identify and place products on the sales floor to provide a memorable shopping experience;
• Ensure everything is clean and tidy in the store and backstore;
• Be on the lookout for new products so you can share your top picks with your customers;
• Accompany customers to the cash register and process their transactions;
• Respect and apply the policies and procedures of the various head office departments (don’t worry, we’ll explain everything to you!);
• Perform other duties where needed to support the team.
