Job summary

Carter’s is seeking a Sales Associate in Richmond, BC to warmly welcome customers and guide families through our baby and kids ranges. You’ll demonstrate products, explain benefits, and support a seamless shopping experience across omnichannel touchpoints.

Ideal candidates bring friendly, professional service, the ability to juggle several tasks, and a willingness to learn our promotions and loyalty program. This role offers a structured retail environment with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with product styles, features and benefits.
• Resolve issues proactively and manage multiple customers calmly.
• Process transactions at point of sale and maintain POS accuracy.
• Restock shelves and support stock replenishment as needed.

What You’ll Do:

• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with our product styles, features, and benefitsConfidently and proactively resolve issues for customers and balance a number of customers in a busy retail environmentMeet customer needs by assisting with omnichannel as needed to ensure a positive shopping experienceExecute and expedite point of sale/register transactionsComplete floor replenishment and shipment as neededArticulate current promotional events and the brand loyalty program to customersMinimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store

Qualities we’d love in a candidate:

• A positive and solutions-oriented mindsetDemonstrated customer service and engagement skillsEffective and professional verbal and written communication skillsThe ability to manage multiple tasks at once

You can:

• Lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pullingStand or walk for extended periods of time; climb up and down a ladderProvide availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
