Job summary

Pine Centre is seeking a dynamic Sales Associate to join our retail team at the kiosk. You will engage with customers, drive sales through upselling and effective merchandising, and create social media content to attract clients.

Ideal candidates have experience in retail or custom order sales, strong communication skills, and familiarity with POS and cash handling. A 10% commission is offered in addition to base wages based on performance.

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of sales techniques, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service. This role involves engaging with customers, contacting potential clients, creating social media content, and driving sales through effective merchandising and upselling strategies. Experience in bulk order printing sales or retail sales are highly valued. The Sales Associate will play a key role in creating a social media content, building client relationships and working direct at our kiosk.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
• Work independently
• Engage in upselling and cross-selling to maximize sales opportunities
• Operate POS systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties
• Maintain organized merchandise displays and ensure products are well-stocked
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
• Manage time effectively to serve customers at our kiosk, email potential clients and create social media content
• Demonstrate strong communication skills, including phone etiquette, to assist remote or in-store customers
• 10% commission offered in addition to base wage based on performance

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales, custom order sales, or related fields is preferred
• Experience with MS Teams, Moneris and MS Excel an asset
• Familiarity with merchandising, POS systems, basic math, and cash handling procedures is advantageous
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on building rapport and trust with clients
• Ability to sell our products and services confidently and effectively
• Excellent organizational skills, time management, and the ability to multitask in an independent environment.
