Job summary

La Vie en Rose Inc. in Montreal is seeking an energetic sales associate to assist and advise customers in lingerie, sleepwear, and swimwear, helping to maximize store sales.

The role requires greeting customers, answering questions about products, processing transactions at the register, keeping the store tidy, and staying informed about new products and promotions. Qualifications

• Previous sales experience in retail or fashion is required.
• Strong customer service mindset with ability to listen and suggest suitable products.
• Willingness to work holidays and longer hours during busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist with finding products.
• Explain product features, materials, and fit; answer questions and offer recommendations.
• Be available in fitting rooms to assist customers as needed.
• Meet and strive to exceed personal sales goals with training support.
• Stock and display products to create an engaging shopping experience.
• Keep store and backroom clean and organized at all times.
• Identify new products to spotlight to customers and share top picks.
• Assist customers at cash register and complete transactions.
• Follow policies of head office departments; perform other duties as needed.

What a typical workday looks like

Under the supervision of the store management team, you will be responsible for assisting and advising customers while working to maximize sales. Here's how:

• Give a warm welcome to every customer who comes into the store;
• Help them find everything they're looking for—answer their questions, explain the products (quality, materials, technical features) and suggest other products they might like;
• Make yourself available when customers are in the fitting room;
• Meet and exceed your personal sales goals (our training will help you get there!);
• Prepare, identify and place products on the sales floor to provide a memorable shopping experience;
• Ensure everything is clean and tidy in the store and backstore;
• Be on the lookout for new products so you can share your top picks with your customers;
• Accompany customers to the cash register and process their transactions;
• Respect and apply the policies and procedures of the various head office departments (don't worry, we'll explain everything to you!);
• Perform other duties where needed to support the team.
