Job summary

La Vie en Rose in Kitchener is seeking a permanent, part-time sales associate to join a dynamic team. You will welcome customers, help them find the right products, explain features, and assist with fittings to enhance the shopping experience.

This role offers flexible hours, competitive hourly pay, and opportunities for advancement within the company. Prior retail experience and a customer-first mindset are valued; bilingualism is an asset.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience is required.
• Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Bilingualism is an asset (English/French).

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer entering the store with a warm welcome.
• Assist customers in finding products and explaining features and materials.
• Support customers in the fitting room and provide sizing advice.
• Aim to meet and exceed personal sales goals with training provided.
• Keep the sales floor and backroom clean and organized.
• Process transactions at the register and handle payments.
• Follow policies from head office departments and guidelines.
• Perform other duties to support the team as needed.

What a typical workday looks like

Under the supervision of the store management team, you will be responsible for assisting and advising customers while working to maximize sales. Here’s how:

• Give a warm welcome to every customer who comes into the store;
• Help them find everything they’re looking for—answer their questions, explain the products (quality, materials, technical features) and suggest other products they might like;
• Make yourself available when customers are in the fitting room;
• Meet and exceed your personal sales goals (our training will help you get there!);
• Prepare, identify and place products on the sales floor to provide a memorable shopping experience;
• Ensure everything is clean and tidy in the store and backstore;
• Be on the lookout for new products so you can share your top picks with your customers;
• Accompany customers to the cash register and process their transactions;
• Respect and apply the policies and procedures of the various head office departments (don’t worry, we’ll explain everything to you!);
• Perform other duties where needed to support the team.

PERMANENT, PART TIME

HOURLY SALARY : 17,60$ - 18,10$
