Job summary

Atlantic Beef Products Inc. in Albany PEI is seeking a Sales Associate to support our sales and marketing team at the production facility. The role focuses on strengthening customer relationships, expanding our client base, and coordinating orders and shipping documentation.

You will work Monday to Friday with potential travel for trade shows, reporting to the Director of Sales. Candidates should have at least one year in food-service or meat sales and hold a college diploma.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of sales and marketing experience in food service or grocery retail or commercial meat sales is required.
• College diploma in business, accounting, marketing, office administration, and/or equivalent experience.
• Must possess good computer skills including MS Word, Email and EXCEL.
• Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset but not required.
• Work effectively in an environment where priorities change constantly with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Work collaboratively with other departments.
• Must be legally allowed to work in Canada for any employer.

Responsibilities

• Manage/enhance/build upon existing customer relationships.
• Develop new customer relationships.
• Assist with day-to-day sales and customer service duties with order placement and shipping documentation.
• Working closely with our management team to ensure that company targets are reached and exceeded.
• Assisting Sales team with projects as needed.
• Completing Credit notes.
• Booking Trucks.
• Freight analysis.
• Ability to coordinate order size to trucks.
• Demonstrate ongoing contact with all accounts to meet their needs on products and programs.
• May require to work weekends and evenings.
• Willing to travel outside province for marketing, tradeshows, and other sales related activities.
• Other duties as assigned.

Location: Albany, PE (Onsite)

Pay: $50,000 - $55,000/year

As we continue to grow our business and to open new markets for our products, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to add to our sales department. This position is based in Albany PEI at our production facility and will work with the sales and marketing team and reporting to Director of Sales.
