Roll-Off Class 3 Driver

Location: 397B City Road, Saint John, New Brunswick

Position Type: Permanent Full-Time

Reporting To: Operations Manager

Start Date: Immediately

Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am start

Compensation: $25.22 per hour

Summary

The Roll-Off Class 3 Driver is responsible for safely operating a roll-off truck to service commercial and industrial customers while ensuring timely pick-up and delivery of containers. The successful candidate will provide excellent customer service, maintain safety standards, and ensure routes are completed efficiently in accordance with Miller Waste Systems protocols.

Responsibilities

In the position of Roll-Off Class 3 Driver, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Must adhere to Miller Waste System safety protocols and must be familiar with Occupational Health & Safety Act.
• Safely operate a Roll-Off and Commercial Rear Loader trucks.
• Possess strong knowledge and work out of the Saint John area.
• Ensure customers are serviced according to their contractual requirements and schedules.
• Safely push and pull containers of various sizes, including unlocking and locking containers and enclosures/rooms.
• Ensure pick-up and delivery schedules are met as assigned.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
• Meet or exceed performance expectations through proven results.

Competencies & Qualifications

• Valid Class 3 Driver's Licence required.
• Minimum 1 year of Roll-Off driving experience is an asset.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility with work schedule, as start and end times may vary.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills preferred.
• Excellent attendance and performance record.
• Availability to work overtime, holidays, and weekends when required.
