Job summary

CF Industries is seeking a Plant Operator for our Brandon, Manitoba facility. You will load/unload product, maintain equipment, monitor refrigeration systems, and keep accurate records.

The role includes on-call requirements, night/weekend work, and adherence to safety policies. Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma with additional college or technical training, plus basic computer skills and strong communication.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent; plus equivalent of 2 years college, Military/technical training, or related work experience
• Ability to understand and follow operating procedures
• Refrigeration knowledge commensurate with position level
• Ability and initiative to exercise independent or team-oriented action
• Must have basic computer skills and be capable of data entry and information retrieval
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Perform product loading and unloading functions and associated duties
• Maintain operating equipment, buildings and grounds
• Understand and apply principles of refrigeration systems
• Maintain and update appropriate manuals and records/paperwork accurately
• Comply with training, environmental, health and safety programs
• Interact with Emergency Response personnel discussions and/or training
