A space exploration company in Brampton seeks a Safety and Mission Assurance Lead to oversee quality, safety, and reliability for the Canadarm 3 program. We’re looking for a Safety and Mission Assurance (S&MA) Lead to support the Canadarm 3 program at our Brampton office.
S&MA is an independent engineering reporting organization within MDA. S&MA is involved in all aspects of the program, including support to proposals, customer and subcontractor contract negotiations, and through all phases of design, development, procurement, assembly, integration, test, qualification, delivery and operational support.
This job requires interaction with internal customers (including MDA program managers, engineering and manufacturing team), external customers (including their program and S&MA personnel), subcontractors and major suppliers.
Successful candidates must obtain and hold security clearance at the reliability status level, and pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP).
