Job summary

Comox Valley Schools - School District 71 is hiring a part-time Supervision Assistant for 5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, during the school lunch hour at Huband Park Elementary. The role offers a current rate of pay of $20.22 per hour plus 16.3% in lieu of benefits, with one vacancy.

Qualifications include Grade 12 education, First Aid knowledge, and strong interpersonal communication with students and staff.

Qualifications

Grade 12 education supplemented by previous experience working with children's groups; basic First Aid knowledge; ability to communicate and work effectively with students and staff; personality and health appropriate to the position; ability to work independently and as a member of a team; excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Duties/Responsibilities

Duties are performed under the supervision of the Principal, Vice Principal or designate; supervises student activities and maintains order on school premises; administers simple aid of a non-educational nature to students; performs other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor; follows proper work procedures, observes all regulations pertinent to the work, maintains a good working relationships with other employees and cooperates in maintaining a healthy learning and working environment.
