Job summary

RM of TRAMPING LAKE No. 380 seeks a Rural Municipal Foreman to lead outside workers and manage municipal operations. You will coordinate daily duties, monitor standards set by council, and supervise maintenance of equipment and buildings.

This role supports the Administrator in budget planning and capital works, and involves ordering supplies, mowing, grading, and gravel work as part of essential municipal services in Saskatchewan.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience as a foreman.
• Experience operating heavy equipment.
• Class 1A driver license preferred.
• Pesticide Applicator License would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and organize daily duties of outside workers with council.
• Ensure standards set by council are implemented and achieved.
• Supervise and direct maintenance of municipal equipment and buildings.
• Assist the Administrator in preparing the annual budget and capital works plan.
• Purchase of supplies related to the transportation services as per the annual budget.
• Mowing, Backhoe Work, Rock Picking, Reclaimer, Grading, and Gravel spreading as required.
• Sign & Culvert maintenance and Gravel checking.
• Shop maintenance and repairs of equipment.
• Other duties as assigned by Council.
