Job summary

Partner Company in Canada seeks a Ruby Script Developer to build and maintain web apps using Ruby on Rails, Vue.js, and SASS. You’ll collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into reliable technical solutions.

This role combines backend development with frontend work, giving you exposure to technologies such as Vue.js, JavaScript, and SASS/CSS. You’ll also work with cloud deployment, version control, and modern software engineering practices

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of professional experience with Ruby scripting.
• Strong proficiency in Ruby and Rails.
• Experience with frontend JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js or similar technologies.
• Familiarity with Heroku deployment and managing applications in cloud environments.
• Good understanding of Git and collaborative version-control practices.
• Proficiency in SASS/CSS for styling and maintaining web applications.
• Understanding and practical application of common software engineering design patterns.
• Experience with Feathery is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment.
• Experience with DevOps practices, CircleCI, or automated testing is a plus.
