Source Code in Toronto is seeking a Senior Product Manager for a 6+ contract role (133 business days) with possible extension. You will own the product lifecycle, gather requirements, define the vision, and align the product with the company’s strategy while driving time-to-market and resource efficiency.

Ideal candidates have experience delivering MRDs/PRDs, managing external partnerships, leading beta programs, and strengthening customer experience.

Qualifications

Description/Responsibilities: Responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including:

  • Responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including:
  • Gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements
  • Defining the product vision
  • Ensuring that the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals
  • Gain a deep understanding of customer experience:
  • Identify and fill product gaps
  • Generate new ideas that grow market share
  • Improve customer experience
  • Drive growth
  • Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
  • Develop product pricing and positioning strategies
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
  • Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact
  • Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources
  • Drive product launches including working with public relations team, executives, and other product management team members
  • Evaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed
  • Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding
  • Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on company products and services

General Skills:

  • Experience delivering MRDs and PRDs with prioritized features and corresponding justification
  • Experience working with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities
  • Experience running beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples becoming an expert with respect to the competition
  • A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines, managing competing priorities and client relationship management experience
