Job summary

The Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement is seeking a Senior ETL/BI Developer for a data warehousing and reporting focus. You will design, develop and test ETL processes, dashboards, and reports using Oracle SQL/PL-SQL, Informatica, Crystal Reports, Power BI and BOE.

You will work with stakeholders and follow SDLC/Agile practices to deliver robust BI solutions. Onsite role in Toronto, Ontario, with a defined end date and extension opportunities.

Must Have

• 5+ years’ experience with analysis, design, developing, unit testing, defect fixing and other necessary tasks in data warehousing, BI environment.

The Employment Ontario Information Systems (EOIS) is the major IT system that supports the administration of these programs. Application subsystems under EOIS include Ca MS (Case Management System), Service Provider life Cycle (SPL), EO Self Service (EOSS), APPR (Apprenticeship), OJG (Ontario Job Grant), and APPR AOL (Apply On Line).

Responsibilities

• This request is for strong developers to help in designing and developing data warehousing, BI, reporting and analytics.
• Perform analysis, design, developing, unit testing, defect fixing and other necessary tasks in a data warehousing and BI environment in Oracle PL/SQL.
• Design, develop and test Informatica mappings.
• Develop ETL scripts to transfer and transform data from OLTP database to Data Warehouse and Data marts.
• Develop and maintain BOE reports.
• Communicate your progress clearly and timely to the management team.
