Job summary

Source Code is seeking a Sr. Software Developer in Toronto for an onsite role. The candidate will contribute to building a modern digital information system and its integration with internal/external applications.

The role requires 8+ years of SDLC experience with Microsoft .NET Framework technologies, strong SQL Server expertise, and hands-on work with C#, .NET Core, Azure, and related tools. Excellent debugging, communication, and teamwork are expected.

MUST HAVES:

• Over 8+years of overall experience in entire Software Development Life Cycle as well as Microsoft .Net Framework Technologies. Having sound knowledge of developing web-based B2B and B2C applications in the client/server environment.
• Expertise in database systems, MS SQL 2005, 2008, 2012 and stored procedures

Nice-to-have:

• OPS experience (preferably)

Scope

• The Justice Technology Services - Digital Design Branch requires one (1) senior Software Developer with 8+ years of experience for building a modern digital information system and its integration with other internal and external applications.
• The Justice Technology Services - Digital Design Branch requires one (1) senior Software Developer with 8+ years of experience for building a modern cloud-based system and it's integration with other internal and external applications

Experience and Skillset Requirements:

Mandatory Requirements

• Over 8+ years of overall experience in entire Software Development Life Cycle as well as Microsoft .Net Framework Technologies. Having sound knowledge of developing web based B2B B2C applications in the client/server environment.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Extensive implementation experience in installation, configuration, customization and extension of Microsoft Azure as well as doing the deployment, trouble shooting and production support for the applications developed.
• Hands-on experiences in developing Web/Windows applications using C#, .net Core, ADO.net , SQL Server 2005/2008R2, and .Net Framework 4.0/5.0 with strong knowledge of Object-Oriented concepts.
• Expertise in Database Systems, SQL, and Stored Procedure.
• Worked on setting up relationships between System and Custom entities
• Experience in converting client requirements and functional specifications to technical design with effort estimation.
• Expertise in generating Entity relationship diagrams to describe the relation between different entities.
• Experience in converting client requirements and functional specifications to technical design with effort estimation and doing development for the same.
• Excellent analytical, logical and interpersonal skills. Hard working and fast learner with self motivated personality.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft IIS 7.0/8.0
