Job summary

Source Code is seeking a Sr. Product Manager to own product vision, strategy, and roadmap for complex IT systems in Toronto. You will lead cross-functional teams, translate strategy into epics and user stories, and work closely with engineering to drive fast delivery.

The role requires hands-on experience with product lifecycle management, PRDs/MRDs, and DevOps practices (Azure). Expect collaboration with external partners and a strong focus on accessibility standards (AODA/WCAG).

Must Have:

• Extensive experience developing and owning product vision, strategy and roadmap for complex IT systems
• Experience leading dynamic, cross-functional teams in achieving common objectives through continuous design and delivery of user-centric products
• Demonstrated strong decision making and prioritization skills
• Proven success in managing all aspects of product development lifecycle from its inception to launch
• Extensive experience translating product vision into epics and user stories and managing the product backlog
• Experience working closely with engineering teams, diving into technical details and leading technical discussions
• Extensive experience with modern technology stack and integration with legacy systems
• Experience with DevOps Azure
• AODA/WCAG

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including:

o Gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements

o Defining the product vision o Ensuring that the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals

Gain a deep understanding of customer experience:

• Identify and fill product gaps
• Generate new ideas that grow market share
• Improve customer experience
• Drive growth
• Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
• Develop product pricing and positioning strategies
• Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
• Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact
• Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources
• Drive product launches including working with public relations team, executives, and other product management team members
• Evaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed
• Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding
• Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on company products and services

General Skills:

• Experience delivering MRDs and PRDs with prioritized features and corresponding justification
• Experience working with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities
• Experience running beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples becoming an expert with respect to the competition
• A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines, managing competing priorities and client relationship management experience
