Job summary

Source Code is seeking an Int. Software Developer to build and maintain secure Java services and REST APIs with Spring Boot. You will translate requirements into robust code, write tests, and contribute to CI/CD deployments.

The role requires 5-7 years in Java/Spring, strong incident management, CI/CD expertise, and experience with Copilots/LLMs; familiarity with Power BI is a plus. Collaborative Agile environment in Toronto, Canada.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience with Java (Java 8+/11+), Spring/Spring Boot, REST APIs, and SQL.
• Strong Production Support & Incident Management experience, including SLA adherence, RCA, and runbook usage.
• Strong CI/CD fundamentals (Git branching, build pipelines, automated testing with JUnit).
• Excellent troubleshooting, performance tuning, and secure coding skills.
• Clear communication and proven ability to work collaboratively in Agile teams.
• Experience with copilots/LLMs (Azure OpenAI etc.).
• Understanding of retrieval-augmented generation patterns.
• Familiarity with analytics tools (Power BI/Excel).
• Understanding of data governance, metadata, and audit trails.
• Experience in case management/social services domains (Curam or similar).
• Experience securing sensitive data (masking).
