Job summary

Source Code is seeking a Senior Technology Architect in Toronto for a large, cross‑platform environment. The role combines on-site and remote work, transitioning from 4 days on-site and 1 day from home starting October 20, 2025, to 5 days on-site from January 5, 2026, under a contract of 5+ months.

You will drive enterprise architecture for Engagement Platform Expansion, align with Government enterprise processes, and shape cloud and communications strategy using AWS, Amazon Cloud, and Amazon

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with multiple cloud platforms, operating systems, environments, database technologies, and communications protocols.
• Knowledge and understanding of Amazon Web Services (AWS), Amazon Cloud and Amazon Connect applications.
• Knowledge and understanding of Cloud computing principles, concepts, policies and practices.
• Experience in developing enterprise architecture deliverables based on Government Enterprise Architecture processes and practice.

Responsibilities

• Develops, recommends, implements and manages the technical architecture for a large, distributed cross-platform environment.
• Develops enterprise architecture deliverables based on Ontario Government Enterprise Architecture processes for Engagement Platform Expansion.
• Identifies relevant information and determines the environment to be used for development.

Toronto (Jarvis St.) - Hybrid

- From October 20, 2025, the candidate is required to work onsite 4 days a week and 1 day from home

- From January 5, 2026, the candidate is required to work onsite 5 days a week fully

Contract 5+ months

• Develops, recommends, implements and manages the technical architecture (hardware, software, database and communications) which will be used for all or specific applications in a large, distributed cross-platform environment.
• Responsible for developing enterprise architecture deliverables based on Ontario Government Enterprise Architecture processes and practices for Engagement Platform Expansion
• Responsibilities also include the identification of relevant information and the determination of the environment, which will be used for development.

Must-Have's:

• Extensive experience with multiple cloud platforms, operating systems, environments, database technologies, and communications protocols
• Knowledge and understanding of Amazon Web Services, Amazon Cloud and Amazon Connect applications
• Knowledge and understanding of Cloud computing principles, concepts, policies and practices
• Experience in developing enterprise architecture deliverables (e.g. models) based on Government Enterprise Architecture processes and practice

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with generative AI in an AWS cloud set-up.
