Job summary

Source Code is seeking a Sr. Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) Specialist for a 6-month contract in Downtown, Toronto. The role is hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 remote) with policy and privacy training responsibilities.

Requires CRJMC security clearance, extensive PHIPA/FIPPA experience, and a track record of drafting IPC-compliant policies to support cloud platforms. Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of operation experience applying Privacy by Design within PHIPA and FIPPA, preferably in health care.
• Minimum 10+ years of knowledge in writing IPC compliant policies and documents to enable cloud-based platforms for varied audiences, with knowledge of digital health technologies and information security standards.
• 7+ years of experience in preparing and delivering privacy training and education in plain language.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and oral, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, research, and presentation abilities.

RQ09697 - Sr. Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) Specialist

Downtown, Toronto

Hybrid - 3 days onsite and 2 days remote - Starting October 20, resources are expected to come into the office 4 days per week. Starting January 5, resources are expected to come into the office 5 days per week. This is subject to change based on manager discretion or change in OPS policy.

Contract (6 months)

Security Level: CRJMC (Must get clearance before start date)

Must-Have's:

• Minimum 10+ years of operational experience applying Privacy by Design within the framework of Ontarios Personal Health Information Protection Act, 2004 (PHIPA) and, Ontarios Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA), preferably in or related to the health care sector.
• Minimum 10+ years of demonstrated knowledge in writing IPC (or similar organization) compliant policies and supporting documents to enable cloud-based platforms for varied audiences from senior executives to privacy experts and data consumers, with working knowledge of digital health technologies and information security industry standards.
• 7+ years of in-depth experience in preparing and delivering privacy training and education in plain language.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to communicate complex ideas in easy-to-understand terminology. Excel in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, research, and presentation skills.
