Description
Note: This contract will require the consultant to work from the office location 3 days per week with the remaining 2 days being worked remotely.
The SOR-RL (Serious Occurrence Reporting and Residential Licensing) IT system is used by the Ministry and service providers for serious occurrence reporting and for inspection and oversight of licensed children’s out‑of‑home care service providers. SOR‑RL was implemented by Community Services I&IT Cluster (CSC) to decrease the costs and timelines of application development for MCCSS by leveraging the iACCESS Platform.
Serious occurrences such as serious illness or injury requiring medical attention are required to be reported to MCCSS by any persons or entities that are funded, licensed or directly operated by MCCSS under the authority of the Child, Youth and Family Services Act, 2017 (CYFSA), the Services and Supports to Promote the Social Inclusion of Persons with Developmental Disabilities Act, 8 (SIPDDA), and/or the Ministry of Community and Social Services Act (MCSSA).
SOR‑RL system will be enhanced through two distinct releases in FY 2025‑26 to deliver requested changes.
