Responsibilities: Required to translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications. This includes: developing detailed programming specifications writing and/or generating code compiling data-driven programs, maintaining, and condSkillsExperience and Skill Set Requirements

Software Development - 40%

• Experience with troubleshooting and remediation of performance issue in web-based applications and Windows services.
• Experience working with and contributing to reusable software components.
• Experience developing applications which use a relational database to store and retrieve data.
• Experience writing applications which will be built and packaged automatically and deployed to servers by another team is an asset.
• Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related WCAG AA compliance in web application development.

Technical Skills - 45%

• Experience developing, testing and debugging code for enhancements to systems using MS Visual Studio 2017 and 2022
• Experience coding in C# .NET Framework 4.8 or later.
• Experience with Oracle 19c and PL/SQL
• Experience in using XML schemas (XSD) and DTDs for defining data structures, and adept at employing XSLT for transforming XML data into different formats.
• Experience working with MS Azure DevOps using GIT as version control and YAML pipelines
• Experience with the configuration and administration of operating systems including Microsoft Windows and Linux or other varieties of UNIX.

Soft Skills - 10%

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with QA specialists, product managers, and other stakeholders.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and ask for help when needed.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and improve existing skills.
• Problem-solving skills to debug and troubleshoot issues.
