Responsibilities
- Provide professional information architecture expertise, and undertake comprehensive architecture needs assessments and complex reviews in support of systems/infrastructure needs for clients (i.e. I&IT clusters, their clients and enterprise I&IT organizations).
- Participate in enterprise-wide and cross-jurisdictional architecture projects with information components.
- Design application landscapes and integration strategies, ensuring seamless data and process flow between systems from local and global target state viewpoints.
General Skills
- Defines, identifies and describes information architectural requirements with clients, and obtains I&IT management approval.
- Develops and obtains approval for detailed plans and resource estimates for large‑scale and complex information architecture projects and/or components of other projects with information architecture elements.
- Ability to complete complex information architecture reviews and assessments, development and/or support projects, to support new and changed enterprise priorities and initiatives, and client clusters and their clients information architecture and/or business needs.
- Experience with application lifecycle management and system interoperability.
- Ensures integration with related corporate and client cluster policies and standards, and incorporation of best practices in the industry.
- Awareness of emerging technologies, trends and directions, both technologically and within the provincial health domain.
- Experience and expert knowledge of application and integration architecture standards and technologies, such as FHIR, while being able to astutely navigate information sensitivity and ownership with a health landscape.
- Support business architecture initiatives by aligning information and application design to business goals.
- Provides general and situation‑specific information / application‑integration architecture interpretation advice and expertise to other project and/or enterprise level I&IT project teams, client management and staff, cluster clients, and external contractors.
- Leads and/or participates in highly sensitive business, information, and application‑integration architecture investigations.
- Strong familiarity with composable architecture, microservices, and API, middleware, and integration platform technologies.
- Experience in developing information and application‑integration architecture deliverables (e.g. frameworks, models, patterns, processes, governance, playbooks).
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills; verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines.
- Experience in developing business architecture deliverables (e.g. models, presentations) based on TOGAF, Zachman, etc.
- Strong familiarity with business process modeling and understanding of core business domains.
- Expertise in cloud architecture (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid solutions.
- Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies and practices.

Extension/Amendment Attestation: Extension(s) only allowed using unused days/funds left on contract. No additional funds will be added beyond the maximum contract value and any extension options included in the original SOW.
Assignment Type: This position is currently listed as Hybrid as consultants will be required to work onsite at the work location 3 days a week and 2 days from home.
