Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience with digital health standards including HL7 FHIR.
• Hands-on experience with HL7 FHIR tooling and interoperability standards.
• 5-10 years' hands-on with HL7 FHIR tooling including Simplifier, HL7 Validator, Forge or FHIR Shorthand.
• Experience with interoperability standards gap analysis, environmental scan, and HL7 FHIR implementation guides.
• Public Sector Experience: Preferred.
• Healthcare experience in Canada in acute, primary or community care settings.
• Hands-on JSON and XML experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and partner engagement skills.

Responsibilities

Job Title: RQ00258 - Senior Technology Architect/ 3 months/Supply Ontario

Working Status: Remote

Location: 525 University Avenue, Toronto

Start Date: 2025-04-08

Must Haves:

• 5-10 years' experience with extensive knowledge and understanding of digital health standards including but not limited to HL7 FHIR, clinical terminologies (e.g., SNOMED-CT, LOINC) and their application.
• 5-10 years' experience with extensive knowledge and understanding of pan-Canadian digital health standards and tooling.
• 5-10 years' of hands-on experience with HL7 FHIR tooling including but not limited to Simplifier, HL7 Validator, and Forge or FHIR Shorthand.
• 5-10 years' of hands-on experience with interoperability standards gap analysis, environmental scan and developing HL7 FHIR implementation guides.
• Public Sector Experience: Preferred
• Healthcare experience within Canada in acute care, primary care and/or community care settings.
• Hands-on experience with JSON and XML.
• Hands-on experience implementing HL7 FHIR standards and solutions.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, and strong partner engagement skills.
