Job summary

A regional healthcare provider in Peel Region is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse for part-time positions. Qualifications

• Current certificate of registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a registered practical nurse.
• If graduation was prior to 1985 must have successfully completed an approved medication administration course.
• Experience in long-term care is preferred.
• Proficient in basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care according to standards and policies.
• Assess health needs and develop care plans for residents.
• Administer and record medications as prescribed.
• Provide personal care and advocate for residents.
