Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year experience in Geriatric Nursing, Healthcare or Rehabilitation.
• All applicants must pass the prescribed Vulnerable Sector Check.
• All applicants must pass the prescribed Criminal Records Check.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Document and follow up on all concerns and complaints.
• Promote the Client's self-care and self-sufficiency.

Skills

Current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN)

Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate

Current Medication Administration Certificate

Experience in Geriatric Nursing

Education

Post-graduate studies in Geriatrics and Nursing Administration
