Job summary

SE Health is seeking registered nurses to provide care across City of Kawartha Lakes and surrounding areas, with flexible schedules and opportunities to grow within a supportive team. The role offers pay per visit with a guaranteed base income and a range of benefits and training options.

Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, care planning, and coordinating with the care team. Requires Ontario RN registration, CPR, driving, and willingness to obtain SE Health certifications.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• CNA specialty certification an asset.
• Enthusiasm and love of community care and passion for evidence-informed practice & excellence in care.
• A current CPR certificate is required.
• A valid driver’s license and vehicle (travel required).
• Updated immunization records, clear criminal background check, and Vulnerable sector check are required upon hire.
• A willingness to attain required Saint Elizabeth certifications.
• Availability to workdays, evenings, nights and every other weekend.
• This is a physically demanding position with lifting up to ~55 pounds and related physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive client assessments, develop care plans, implement and evaluate care based on best evidence/practices and client needs.
• When designated as primary provider, act as point of care lead coordinating with the care team.
• Support clients through transitions by linking to community support services.
