Job summary

Premium Retail Services (Canada), Inc. is seeking a Pet Ambassador for a one-off event in Saskatoon. The role includes 9 hours total: 3 hours of training, 1 hour of pre-event team call, and 5 hours in-store on the event day.

Opportunity for future Pet Ambassador work with Royal Canin. Earn a potential extra $200 via a photo contest for 20 winners. Represent a significant pet brand with flexible hours, in-store interactions with pets and their parents, and ongoing training to ensure success.

Qualifications

• Must be a pet enthusiast who cares about pets, pet health and nutrition.
• Access to reliable transportation to multiple stores in your area.
• Experience working with pets is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Tidy and face products on shelves and set up POS materials.
• Build and maintain relationships with store associates and pet parents.
• Provide store staff with pet health, nutrition, and product knowledge to increase recommendations and sales.
• Engage with pet parents and pets in-store and at events to build brand awareness.
• Make personalized product recommendations for pets and set up demos/displays as needed.
• Leverage provided client materials to engage customers and support special projects.

Responsibilities

What will you do?

• Tidy and face client's products on shelves as well as ensure any authorized POS material is nicely set up to help ensure pet parents find what they need.
• Build and maintain relationships with store associates, store management, and pet parents.
• Provide store associates with pet health, nutrition, and product knowledge including benefits and promotions to help increase recommendations and sales (with guidance from the client and approval from store managers).
• Build brand awareness and affinity by actively engaging with pet parents and their pets in-store and at events.
• Delight customers by sharing pet health and nutrition information and making personalized product recommendations for their pets.
• Set up demos/displays as required.
• Maintain and leverage client's provided material, such as equipment and handouts, to engage associates and pet parents.
• Support recommendations driving special projects as required.

Qualifications

• Be a pet enthusiast who cares about pets, pet health, and pet nutrition.
• Access to reliable transportation to get to and from multiple stores in your area.

Experience and Qualifications

• Access to a smart device for reporting.
• Experience working with pets (preferred, not required).
• RVT, AHT, BSc, or MSc in the pet field (preferred, not required).
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
• Must be 18 years or older.
