Job summary

Premium Retail Services in Canada is seeking a part-time Pet Ambassador to engage with pet parents and their pets in-store and at events. You will educate store associates on pet health and nutrition, set up demos, and drive brand awareness for a significant pet brand.

Training and certification by Premium ensure your success. Ideal candidates are pet enthusiasts with reliable transportation, able to lift up to 40 lbs, and 18+ years old.

Qualifications

• Be a pet enthusiast who cares about pets, pet health, and pet nutrition.
• Access to reliable transportation to get to and from multiple stores in your area.
• Experience using a smart device for reporting is required or preferred.
• RVT, AHT, BSc, or MSc in the pet field is preferred, not required.
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Tidy and face client's products on shelves and set up any authorized POS material.
• Build and maintain relationships with store associates, store management, and pet parents.
• Provide store associates with pet health, nutrition, and product knowledge including benefits and promotions.
• Build brand awareness by engaging with pet parents and their pets in-store and at events.
• Delight customers by sharing pet health and nutrition information and making personalized product recommendations.
• Set up demos/displays as required.
• Maintain and leverage client's provided material to engage associates and pet parents.
• Support recommendations driving special projects as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

What will you do?

• Tidy and face client's products on shelves as well as ensure any authorized POS material is nicely set up to help ensure pet parents find what they need.

• Build and maintain relationships with store associates, store management, and pet parents.

• Provide store associates with pet health, nutrition, and product knowledge including benefits and promotions to help increase recommendations and sales (with guidance from the client and approval from store managers).

• Build brand awareness and affinity by actively engaging with pet parents and their pets in-store and at events.

• Delight customers by sharing pet health and nutrition information and making personalized product recommendations for their pets.

• Set up demos/displays as required.

• Maintain and leverage client's provided material, such as equipment and handouts, to engage associates and pet parents.

• Support recommendations driving special projects as required.
