UniFirst seeks a Route Service Supervisor to lead a team of Route Service Representatives serving a diverse client base including small family-owned businesses and large corporate locations. This entry-level supervisory role offers growth within a stable, customer-focused organization with a daytime schedule.

As a Route Service Supervisor youâll lead and work alongside a team of Route Service Representatives who service a diverse portfolio of customers each day, from small family-owned businesses to large corporate locations. What Your Role Entails

• Provide route coverage during Route Service Representative absences (e.g., illness or vacation), offering hands-on support while assessing performance and customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Respond to customer service requests in a timely and professional manner
• Negotiate customer contract renewals
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and team members
• Collaborate closely with leadership and management to deliver best-in-class customer service and product programs
• Support the training and development of a team of Route Service Representatives

What You Bring to UniFirst

• Driverâs License & Safe Driving Record: Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driverâs license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation. Must meet all Ministry of Transportation requirements.
• Educational Requirements: High school diploma or CAEC is required.
• Strong Customer Service Skills: Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-oriented mindset and providing excellent customer service.
• Results-Driven Leadership Mindset: A hands-on, relationship-focused supervisor who isnât afraid to roll up their sleeves to support the team and, most importantly, the customer.
• Team Development & Coaching: Enjoys working closely with a team of Route Service Representatives, providing guidance, support, and mentorship as they grow in their roles.
• Relevant Experience: Prior leadership, customer service, route sales, delivery, and/or entrepreneurial experience preferred.
• Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using and learning new technologies to enhance operational efficiency and improve customer experience.
• Physical Stamina: Capable of lifting, carrying, and pushing up to 50 lbs., with the ability to remain on your feet for extended periods.
