Job summary

Compass Group Canada is seeking a Delivery Driver in Canada. You will assemble and deliver supplies to scheduled locations, ensure proper loading before routes, and unload at delivery sites with attention to sanitation and safety guidelines.

The role requires a valid driver's license and good driving record, plus the ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Widely capable of physical tasks and vehicle maintenance, you will keep the company vehicle clean and compliant with pre/post trip

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and deliver all supplies to the scheduled locations.
  • Pre-route: ensure truck is properly loaded with all products.
  • Unload products at delivery site.
  • Return unused food and beverages and equipment.
  • Follow sanitation and safety guidelines.
  • Keep vehicle clean and perform pre/post trip inspections.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

How you will make an impact

You will be responsible for loading food, supplies, or other products (such as machines) and delivering them to various locations in an area.

As a Delivery Driver, you will:
  • Assemble and deliver all supplies to the scheduled locations
  • Prior to beginning each day's route, ensure that truck/vehicle is properly loaded with all products required to properly service all scheduled deliveries
  • Unload requested products at delivery site
  • Collect empty containers and rejected or unsold merchandise
  • Return items such as unused food and beverages, serving equipment and utensils
  • Follow sanitation and safety guidelines when handling food and equipment
  • Keep company vehicle clean and organized at all times; perform pre & post trip vehicle inspections
  • Perform other duties as assigned
About You
  • A valid driver's license and good driving record is required
  • You must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent
  • Must have the ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Strong communication skills
  • Physical ability to carry out duties of the position

The hourly wage rate for this position is $21. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
