VG Meats is seeking a Route Driver in Simcoe, ON to handle daily deliveries from our plant to clients across local and GTA routes. The role offers a full-time schedule with a 25% employee discount and opportunities for growth within a regenerative employer.

Your duties include coordinating with Shipping/Receiving and the Logistics team to ensure accurate paperwork and shipping details, while maintaining vehicle cleanliness and safety standards.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of driving experience relevant to the role.
• Ability to drive in urban areas and load/unload trucks.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.
• A clean Driver’s Abstract.
• Reference letters evidencing driving experience.

Responsabilités

• Make daily deliveries from our plant to clients.
• Coordinate with the Shipping/Receiving department, Administrative staff, and Logistics Supervisor to ensure accurate paperwork and shipment details.
• Ensure accurate handling of customer orders and paperwork.
• Maintain cleanliness of the delivery vehicle.
• Return home each night on local and GTA routes.
