Route Delivery Driver-CO2 (Class 3 - Full Time) – Calgary, AB

Reporting to the Microbulk Operations Manager, this position is responsible for the delivery of liquid Carbon Dioxide (CO2) to vessels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery of liquid Carbon Dioxide (CO2) to scheduled customers using a tandem axle tanker. This includes daily loading of the tanker from bulk facility.
  • Conduct pre and post trip inspections.
  • Maintain driver logs on the truck’s OBC (ELD).
  • Complete and maintain all required training as assigned.
  • Complete daily delivery logs and other necessary reports.
  • Complete monthly credit card reconciliations as well as any other necessary reports in a timely manner
Qualifications
  • Valid, incident free, applicable provincial Class 3 or Class 1 Driver's License
  • Liquid tanker commercial driving experience is considered an asset
  • Strong aptitude for delivery technology (handheld computers, E-Logs)
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Experience in Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) [considered an asset]
  • City driving experience in tight quarters.
  • Safety First mentality. Remain attentive in hazard recognition.
Other Considerations
  • Self motivated and organized individual, capable of working with minimum supervision.
  • Team player who has a strong customer and safety focus and works well contractors.
  • Knowledge of fountain and draught beverage systems.
  • Have a strong commitment toward safety.
  • Must have basic computer & mobile device skills for email and summary reports in Excel.
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand gas systems would be an asset.
