Reporting to the Service Line Lead for Rotating Machines, your primary focus will be on managing and executing field projects in the area of rotating machines services (motors, generators) business.
Experienced specialist for HV rotating machines (motors and generators) in consulting, diagnostic testing and technical quality assurance associated with both conventional and nuclear power plants is preferred.
You will bring to this position a reputation as an industry expert in on-line rotating machines services as well as both technical and leadership skills in projects related to rotating machines testing and assessment. You will be expected to develop and train in Kinectrics for expertise in off-line testing in the laboratory and field. Travel up to 80% of your time to present & educate customers on our service capabilities.
A critical component of this role will also be leading the implementation of additional capacity and capability within the rotating machines laboratory and field-testing business.
This role requires the successful candidate to complete the security clearance process. The security clearance process is conducted in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements of the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) and the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) and may take up to 12 months to complete.
