Job summary

Echo NDE is seeking a Rope Access Journeyperson Insulator to support long-term projects at client sites across Alberta. The role involves insulation installation, maintenance, and repair at heights, with a strong focus on safety and quality.

Responsibilities include measuring, cutting, and securing insulation materials, reading specifications and drawings, and coordinating with supervisors and other trades to meet project timelines.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Insulator certification is required.
• IRATA Level 1 certification required, or higher.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and work instructions.
• Physically able to perform demanding industrial work, including working at heights.
• Commitment to workplace safety and compliance with regulations.
• Experience in industrial insulation is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and remove insulation materials to control heat transfer and sound attenuation.
• Measure, cut, and fit insulation to specifications.
• Secure insulation with fasteners, adhesives, bands, jacketing, and finishing materials as specified.
• Inspect insulation systems for wear, damage, moisture, or degradation and identify repair needs.
• Perform removal and replacement of damaged insulation to maintain system performance.
• Read project specifications and drawings to determine insulation requirements and installation methods.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other trades to complete work safely and on schedule.
• Follow all safety procedures and quality standards on site.
