Hotel Equities is seeking a room attendant for the Moxy Halifax Downtown in Halifax, Nova Scotia. You will clean guest rooms and public areas to the standards of our brand, restock amenities, and maintain carts and storerooms.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Prior experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham, or similar cleaning standards is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham or cleaning standards.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and prepares guest rooms and public areas to established standards.
• Restocks towels, soaps and amenities and maintains carts and storerooms.
• Vacuums and cleans rooms, public areas and hallways, with care for safety and quality.
• Inspects locks, equipment and report maintenance needs to management.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
