GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a Class 3 Roll Off Driver to join our Calgary, AB team. The role involves safely operating Roll Off trucks, servicing customer sites, and following safety procedures to maintain high service standards.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 3 Driver's License with Air Brakes and a clean Driver's Abstract.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant commercial driving experience.
• Demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy commercial collection vehicles and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to satisfy all company safety standards for safety-sensitive roles.
• Strong attendance and flexibility for early starts and overtime.
• Able to meet the physical demands of the role.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Roll Off trucks to service customers on assigned routes.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain trip logs/e-logs.
• Operate hydraulic systems using proper techniques to prevent equipment damage.
• Report mechanical issues, hazards, or safety incidents to management promptly.
• Maintain high route productivity, customer service, and vehicle cleanliness.
• Comply with traffic laws, bylaws, and PPE standards.
• Collaborate with Dispatchers and Supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Responsibilities:

• Safe Fleet Operation: Safely operate GFL vehicles to complete assigned routes.

• Safety Inspections: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections daily and complete required trip logs, paperwork and e-logs.

• System Operations: Skillfully operate hydraulic systems using proper techniques to prevent equipment damage.

• Reporting & Maintenance: Promptly report any mechanical write-ups, route hazards, or safety incidents to management.

• Service Quality: Maintain high route productivity, customer service standards, and vehicle cleanliness.

• Regulatory Compliance: Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, municipal bylaws, company safety policies, and required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) standards.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with Dispatchers and Supervisors to support smooth, efficient daily operations.

• Additional Duties: Perform other operational duties as assigned by leadership.
