Robotics & Automation Project Supervisor

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Robotics & Automation Project Supervisor to lead our talented tradespeople and engineers. This role demands a proactive leader with a strong background in electrical and mechanical trades, specifically in robotics and automation. If you thrive in a fast‑paced environment and excel at motivating teams and managing projects, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of 20‑25 tradespeople and engineers, ensuring efficient workflow and high‑quality output.
  • Create a positive, organized, and motivated team environment.
  • Plan and schedule production and tooling requirements to ensure smooth shop operations.
  • Obtain material quotes, place orders, and maintain adherence to production schedules.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and provide clear, decisive direction to the team.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to address any issues affecting delivery requirements.
  • Maintain safety standards and ensure compliance with all safety certifications and protocols.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Must hold an Electrical 309A license with a solid mechanical background.
  • Years of experience in robotics and automation.
  • Leadership skills with a focus on team motivation and organization.
  • Strong organizational, time‑management, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings fluently.
  • Computer skills, including proficiency in relevant software.
  • Experience in production planning and managing machine maintenance.
  • Custom machine build shop management experience.
  • Experience overseeing a team of people in a shop where they design, custom‑build robotics and automation machinery.
Schedule
  • Full‑time, Monday to Friday day shift with overtime as needed.
