Job summary
ARV Solutions is seeking a skilled Robot Programmer in Canada to develop, simulate, commission, and troubleshoot multi-robot cells for automated production lines. You will work closely with customers and internal teams to ensure seamless integration of robotics, PLC, HMI, MES and machine vision components.
The role requires hands-on programming, commissioning and troubleshooting, with travel across Canada and the USA. Prior experience with ABB or Kuka robots is advantageous.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of industry experience programming robots.
- Experience with major automotive or pharmaceutical manufacturers is an asset.
- Experience with robot brands such as ABB and Kuka is considered an asset.
Responsibilities
- Program new Fanuc robot systems in an automation integrator facility.
- Simulate, commission, setup, and troubleshoot industrial robot systems.
- Work on dispense/sealing, and material handling applications.
- Perform quality inspections prior to machine shipments as required.
- Clearly communicate mechanical, electrical, or process issues discovered while programming.
- Generate documentation to support quality compliance programs.
- Adhere to all related safe work practices and customer safety requirements.
