A local logging company in Thunder Bay is seeking a Roadside Processor Operator. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years experience operating logging equipment, and a valid G Driver’s License. Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years experience operating logging equipment, processor preferred.
  • Logging industry experience preferred.
  • Valid G Driver’s Licence and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to commute/relocate to Thunder Bay.
  • References required.

Pay: CA$38.07 per hour, plus benefits and RRSP contribution after probation.
This is a full-time position with benefits and typically a Monday to Friday schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Operate roadside processor in a safe and efficient manner
  • Perform daily circle checks and routine maintenance on equipment
  • Meet production goals in a consistent manner
  • Willingness to work day shift and night shift if required
  • Other duties within logging operation as assigned
Benefits
  • $38.07/hour
  • Benefits and RRSP contribution after probationary period
  • 4 days a week, 10 hour shifts
  • OT optional, for 50 hour weeks, paid at time and a half over 40 hours
  • Partial ride time paid, daily transportation from Thunder Bay provided
