Job summary

A healthcare facility in Eastern Ontario seeks a full-time Registered Nurse for the Women & Child/Surgical Unit. The ideal candidate will have a BScN and at least 2 years of experience in the Caseroom and postpartum care. Responsibilities include providing quality nursing care and participating in hospital-wide improvements. Candidates must hold relevant certifications and demonstrate excellent patient teaching skills.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse and current member in good standing of the Ontario College of Nurses of Ontario.
• 2 years of Caseroom and postpartum experience required.
• ACLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provision of quality nursing care to patients.
• Participate in quality improvement and risk management.
• Maintain competence through continuing education.
