Job summary

A healthcare provider in Sioux Lookout seeks a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care for clients in the Sexual Assault & Domestic Violence Program. The role requires strong clinical assessment skills and experience in trauma care, as well as a current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario. This position includes a competitive salary range from $39.07 to $56.00, in accordance with the ONA Collective Agreement.

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years experience required.
• Additional education and/or experience relating to caring for patients with substance use disorder an asset.
• ASIST or SAFE-T training preferred or willing to complete.

Responsibilities

• Provide culturally competent and respectful care in accordance with hospital policy.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams.
• Coordinates care of acute medical patients requiring close monitoring.

Education

Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as RN

Current Basic CPR certificate (BCLS)

Intravenous/venipuncture skills/certification
