Qualifications
- Must possess current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Completion or willingness to complete post graduate specialty nursing course.
- Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients and gather information for nursing diagnoses.
- Collaborate with families in care planning.
- Participate in care and discharge planning.
- Coordinate nursing care and delegate tasks.
- Communicate with interprofessional care team.
- Teach patients and families about health care.
- Initiate referrals to appropriate agencies.
