Job summary

Vancouver Coastal Health invites applications for a specialty training opportunity under the mNPR initiative. The program provides full-time attendance with wages, tuition and books funded during training, and a pathway to a regular status nurse role after completion.

Orientation and clinical blocks are scheduled across Richmond, VGH, and Squamish, with 18 months minimum commitment post-training to ensure skill consolidation in the designated nursing area.

Qualifications

• Applicants must successfully complete the post-basic training education prior to working in the Department.
• The training program requires full-time attendance.
• Funding will consist of wages, tuition and books during the training program.

Responsibilities

• Train in the Department on schedule as indicated (Orientation Nov 6, 2026; clinical blocks through Mar 12, 2027).
• Remain with Vancouver Coastal Health as a regular status nurse for at least 18 months after training.
