Qualifications

• Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse and/or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with BCCNM.
• Two years recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Valid Class 5 B.C. driver’s licence and access to a personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical nursing services on a case-management basis.
• Educate on mental health and substance use issues.
• Carry out treatment plans and interventions.
• Follow-up and monitor complex psychiatric situations.
• Consult with interprofessional care team members.
• Facilitate clients’ use of community services.
• Initiate and participate in case conferences.
• Advocate for clients' autonomy and privacy.
• Document assessments and interventions.
• Improve client care through active participation.
