Job summary

A healthcare provider in Metro Vancouver seeks a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct resident care and medication administration. The RN will work in a person-centered environment committed to empowering residents and ensuring compliance with care standards. Key responsibilities include overseeing care assessments, coordinating nursing assignments, and educating residents. Competitive wages between $41.42 and $55.91 per hour based on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with seniors and unregulated care providers.
  • Demonstrated sound clinical knowledge and ability to delegate.
  • Current Vulnerable Position/Sector Screening (within 6 months).

Responsibilities

  • Complete residents' care assessments and service plans.
  • Assist with scheduling of residents’ care conferences.
  • Work closely with DOC to facilitate residents’ moves.
  • Safekeep drugs and administer them in compliance with regulations.
  • Provide resident/family education.
  • Supervise resident self-medication assessments.
  • Coordinate nursing team’s resident care assignments.
