Prosperity Workforce Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse Class A (RNCA) to join the Forensic Psychiatry – Community Reintegration Unit in Campbellton, New Brunswick. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive nursing care to meet the individual needs of patients within a forensic psychiatric setting.

Key responsibilities include assessing and monitoring patient conditions, developing nursing interventions, supporting patient safety and participating in quality improvement

Qualificações

• Registered in good standing with the College of Nursing of New Brunswick.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Completion of Prevention and Management of Suicidal Behaviour in a Psychiatric Hospital Setting or commitment to complete within timeframe.
• NonViolent Crisis Intervention (CPI) – Advanced Physical Skills certification or commitment to complete within timeframe.

Responsabilidades

• Provide comprehensive nursing care based on individual patient needs in a forensic psychiatric setting.
• Assess and monitor patient conditions and respond to changes.
• Develop and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
• Support patient safety and quality of care initiatives.
• Participate in quality improvement projects and patient safety initiatives.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members to deliver care.
• Exercise sound clinical judgment within the nursing scope of practice.

Position Details

• Unit: Forensic Psychiatry – Community Reintegration
• Location: Campbellton, NB
• Job Classification: Registered Nurse Class A (RNCA)
• Job Classification Type: NBNU
• Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
• FTE: 1.0
• Schedule: Rotational schedule, consisting of 8- or 12-hour shifts
• Language Requirement: Bilingual essential

Work schedules may be adjusted to meet operational needs.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive nursing care to meet the individual needs of patients within a forensic psychiatric setting.

• Providing comprehensive nursing care based on individual patient needs

Qualifications & Certifications
